Shari Carlson is a performing arts coach and co-creator, along with the late Nick Scoggin, of the Essential Compass. The Essential Compass bridges concepts derived from martial arts and the performing arts, allowing you to access your truest self in the moment. Jeff Carlson
Jeff Carlson is an Essential Compass Presenter, businessman, entrepreneur, husband, father, and civic leader. Jeff serves as a consultant for Imaginative Productions and has been teaching the Essential Compass for more than ten years. The Essential Compass helps Jeff balance his personal life across his diverse roles. “The Essential Compass will help you discover the various facets of your body and mind and how they work together to guide you and your beliefs toward your truest ideals.” — Jeff Carlson
Anya Prinz
Anya Prinz is an actor, singer, and certified Essential Compass Coach. Anya’s first language is American Sign Language. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in social work from New York University, and she is passionate about helping others find their voices and share their stories. As a demonstrator for the Essential Compass, she guides people to tap into their own personal source of wisdom. “Each person’s story holds great power, and my mission is to help them tap that power to create a world of deeper understanding and connection.” —Anya Prinz
Shin Fei Chen
Shin-Fei is an actor , singer and writer, with credits including BBC, Paramount, and the Royal National Theatre. Prior to the entertainment industry, she worked in sustainability and communications. As an Essential Compass demonstrator, Shin-Fei uses the Compass to check in with herself, mine the secrets of her subconscious, and create her daily game plan. “Having experienced the Essential Compass firsthand, I am excited to share this powerful self-actualizing tool with others.” —Shin-Fei
Nick Scoggin
The Co-Creator of the Essential Compass Course is an Aikido Sensei in Martial Arts. “This process is the distillation of a lifetime of experience. It was born, tried and tested in many fields. In all cases it has proven to be a stable framework wherever it has been applied.” - 1948 - 2017
